WHAT IS VIRTUAL REALITY?

VR gives you a stimulated experience (lifelike experience but in a controlled environment) completely different from the real world. You can use VR to watch movies or play games.

Twenty years ago, virtual reality (VR) was just something dreamed up in science fiction. No one was actually working on it. Who would want to watch an entire movie in their head?

Instead, today it’s a completely normal thing. Users can buy cheap virtual reality goggles. People are making movies using virtual reality cameras. Games are being made in VR as well. Like watching an HD TV, VR has great clarity and resolution, but the difference is virtual reality immerses you into a world with depth and a sense of physical space. VR films and games set scenes and characters in virtual reality and stick you right there.

A virtual reality is a recreation of reality using computers and video screens that can realistically recreate reality. This can be simulated using either commercially available equipment or through the virtualisation (creating virtual version of something using software) of regular videos and images.

DO VR HEADSET HARMFUL FOR OUR HEALTH?

Virtual reality can harm our health. The health effects of this technology range from scary to dangerous. This technology can induce hallucinations (A perception of having seen, heard, touched or tasted something that wasn't actually there), harm our perception of reality, and scare us in ways that may be harmful to our health and offcourse, it can harm our eyes or can cause eye strain. If you are suffering from anxiety, and you turn on the technology, it could increase your anxiety to levels that are extremely dangerous for a person. Our reality is so vivid in virtual reality that we cannot tell the difference between what is real and what is not. When we shut off the headset, we realize that it is not reality, but a simulated experience. If we incorporate virtual reality into our health care system, it could potentially harm people who have mental illness and also cause more harm to children. It is safe to say that virtual reality is very dangerous to health.

However, if you wanna try it out, you should take care to use it for a limited time and also take regular breaks in between as health comes first. {alertInfo}
